RUITOOL FAQ
Jig fit, pin sizes, saw teeth, nipper grades and checkout, answered short.
Where do I buy RUITOOL tools?
Each product page has a button that takes you to our retail partner. You check out there. Payment, delivery and returns happen with the partner, and the price at checkout is the one that counts.
Face frame or frameless: how do I tell?
Open a door and look at the front of the cabinet box. If a wood frame surrounds the opening, it is a face-frame cabinet. If you see only the edge of the side panel, it is frameless.
Which shelf pin size do I have?
Pull a pin and measure the peg. It is 1/4 in or 5 mm. The two are close, and a 5 mm pin wobbles in a 1/4 in hole. Our jigs include bits for both.
What does TPI mean on a saw?
Teeth per inch. A low number cuts fast and rough. A high number cuts slow and smooth.

Can RUITOOL pull saws be sharpened?
No. The teeth are hardened past what a file can cut. That is why they stay sharp longer.
Which RUITOOL nipper should I start with?
RM1.0 or the compact gray nipper. Move to RM3.0 and RM5.0 when you want finer trims.
How are RUITOOL prices kept current?
We update them on a schedule, and the date of the last update is at the bottom of every page. Prices can move between updates.
How do the ratings work?
Each product shows a score out of 5 and the number of ratings behind it. We show a score once a product has at least ten ratings.
